Job Overview: Roto-Paint Artist (Remote / Hybrid Contract)

We are hiring Roto-Paint Artists ranging from enthusiastic freshers to seasoned supervisors. In this role, artists will create:

• Accurate mattes and clean plates

• Seamless paint fixes ensuring perfect VFX blending into live-action footage

Collaboration is key, with close coordination alongside compositors and supervisors to maintain consistent quality throughout shots and sequences. You will contribute to projects spanning feature films, streaming shows, and commercials.

Experience Levels We Welcome

• Fresher/Interns: Basic understanding of roto/paint techniques and a strong eagerness to learn

• Junior Artists: 1–2 years in production with proficiency in Silhouette and Nuke

• Mid-Level Artists: 3–5 years experience, capable of independently managing complex shots

• Senior Artists: 5+ years with advanced problem-solving skills and mentoring capability

• Leads/Supervisors: Leaders who can set quality standards, oversee review processes, and guide teams technically and creatively

Key Responsibilities

• Produce precise mattes and clean plates for VFX

• Perform seamless paint work for integrating effects with live footage

• Work collaboratively with compositors and supervisors, ensuring high-quality output

• Maintain consistency and artistic integrity across all project shots

• Contribute to diverse projects including films, streaming content, and commercials
